15 meters 6mm (4mm bore) black flexible tubing

4 x 90 degree bend, 1/8” BSPT (to fit axles etc.) to push-fit 6mm

2 x “Y” (2-into-1), push-fit 6mm

2 x “T” (2-into-1), push-fit 6mm

2 x “L” (1-into-1), push-fit 6mm

4 x inline coupler (1-into-1), 6mm

1 x 5-Way manifold, push-fit 6mm


There are so many ways to extend your axle and breather tubes that we decided that it was better to assemble a kit of the parts only and let you decide how to route the pipes and whether to extend the originals, or replace them entirely. Thus, we don't provide any instructions. If you need instructions then you should probably consider getting a professional to do the job!

There should be plenty of everything that you might need. If you disagree, please let us know and we'll try to resolve that. It has been said that you could do two vehicles with what is supplied, but that isn't the intention.


A few of the choices that you need to make:

(a) Do you want to replace the existing tubes entirely or extend them?

We provide couplers if you wish to extend, and sufficient tubing if you wish to replace.

(b) Do you want to use the existing “banjo” unions onto the axles, transfer case, etc., or replace then with push-fit connectors.

We provide sufficient 90 degree push-fit to replace them if you go that route (recommended, as this allows easy replacement if you snag a pipe on the trail).

(c) Do you want to run each line to a single manifold (usually positioned high on the front bulkhead), or join the axle tubes via a “T” or “Y” and then run those separate to the gearbox and transfer case (which you may decide to join together or not). Either way, we provide enough connectors and tube for these options.

(d) Do you want to run the final pipe(s) to run up the side of your snorkel (if fitted), or terminate at the airbox?

Either can be done. We don't recommend terminating into the airbox or snorkel (although some people do) as a slight vacuum is placed on all of the areas being vented, which leaves a negative pressure and potential for water to be drawn in through seals.


Whichever method you choose, please make sure that you have enough slack to allow full axle articulation without the tubes being stressed. If you have to leave a large 'service loop' due to ultra-flex suspension, then consider using a very low breaking strain fishing line to secure the loop, as this will break when necessary, but keep the pipe out of the way for normal use (don't forget to replace the line before the drive home though).


Note: This kit is designed to fit most US spec solid axle Rovers. Due to the many different variations, both from the factory and modified, there may not be everything for your particular installation.

We do not include fittings for late model Puma and Wolf axles, as they shouldn’t be in the U.S. (or rather, they should, but the Federal Government disagree!).
