A diagnostic tool that is truly portable and simple to use by the home or professional mechanic. Bearmach’s HawkEye is an essential tool for Land Rovers and it is the electronic equivalent of a spare tyre – it will help you to identify problems quickly and accurately so you can initiate an immediate fix to keep the vehicle on the road.

This device is vehicle model locked, not VIN locked.  The standard model, as purchased will be unlocked for the vehicle type requested.  Additional codes can be purchased to unlock other vehicle types.  Some functions may need the purchase of additional "dongles" **.

Please contact us before purchasing if you wish to know more about what a HawkEye will do on your particualr vehicle.  We use one regualrly and can probably check whether the function you require is covered (either by looking at technical data, or hooking up to a vehicle to see for ourselves).  With so many possibilities (vehicle types and functions), it is often hard to find a particular item in the printed documentation, although using the simple menus available it is easy to find them on the device itself.

The unit itself weighs under 9 ounces (plus cable).  Unit is powered from the OBD2 port.  If you wish to power it without connecting to a vehicle, a 12V mains powered supply can be used (this is a common item, often used for routers and other portable electronics).

BA5072 – for 14CUX – such as Range Rover Classic and very early D1

BA5076 – Green – for 10AS security – such as Defender and Discovery 1

BA5077 – Black (often called "gray") – for P38 and Discovery 1 air suspension

BA5080 – Black – for climate control, and security on LR3 and L320/322 RR
