Front +2" Damper Towers or Shock Turrets.

These towers are for extreme travel suspension and are 2" taller than standard. By allowing a longer damper (shock) body, greater travel can be accomodated, often as much as 15" or 16".

They usually allow insertion and removal of the damper (or shock absorber) from the top, without removal of the tower each time (depending on damper used).

These towers have a built in spring re-locator to guide the spring back in if it dislocates, so provides the same function as fitting dislocation cones as well, without the additional cost (and weight).

These towers are handed, the hole in the upper leg must be fitted towards to the front of the vehicle and the longer part of the re-locator must go against the chassis

Fits:- Front Defender 90/110/130, Disco 1 & RRC.

When fitting on some Land Rover Discovery 1 models it may be necessary to add spacers (not included) to lift the air filter box up to ensure that the top thread of the damper (shock absorber) doesn't rub on the air inlet duct.

Sold as a pair.  They are hot dip galvanized to protect against corrosion and prolong their life.
