Spring Catcher / Relocators - Challenge Suspension - Heavy Duty (6mm) - pair

These rear spring relocators were designed by Gwyn Lewis many years ago for his challenge suspension and for those that have extra long shocks fitted.  They are heavy duty, made from 6mm mild steel, and are hot dip galvanized to prolong there life (dont be fooled by cheaper imitations that are electroplated).

These relocators guide the rear spring back in as normal with minimal noise, but on extreme drop out they catch the last coil of the spring to stop it from coming past the relocator.  The coil spring must be positioned properly to allow the hook to catch on the last full coil of the spring, not where the spring ends but where it doubles up (see picture below).

Jacking the vehicle up is quite simple, by first placing a round bar or a wheel brace through the spring and relocator to minimise axle movement (to hold the spring up) when using a hi lift jack.
